The Latecomers Guide to Crypto

Generously sponsored by Elliot Wolk, David Wolf, Art Solomon, and U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management.

Until fairly recently, if you lived anywhere other than San Francisco, it was possible to go days or weeks without hearing about cryptocurrency. Now, suddenly, it’s inescapable. Crypto is a lot of things — and for many, it’s intimidating. Kevin Roose, a technology columnist at the New York Times, is here to clarify things.

In this engagement, Roose discusses and answers all your crypto questions. What is an NFT? Is Bitcoin bad for the environment? Does our economy run on “vibes”? The questions are endless. Sharing perspectives from crypto’s biggest skeptics and its most prominent proponents, Kevin Roose is here to prove that crypto isn’t scary; it’s just terribly explained.

U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management representative, Jeff Zipper, will make a brief presentation on the real world investment strategy following the lecture at 6:00 p.m.. At the end of the presentation, Mr. Roose will continue with the Questions & Answers session. A book signing will follow.
